I am a dedicated and passionate educator with extensive experience in early childhood education and special education. I thrive in dynamic, research-driven environments where I can continue to learn and grow professionally. My career has been enriched by mentoring university students and working with neurodiverse and behaviorally challenged children. I am committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
I co-teach in the Learning Lab under the direction of Professor Patty Clarkson, focusing on a STEM-rich, research-directed classroom experience. I mentor university students and work with 20+ children, enhancing my professional skills daily.
I was responsible for the daily operation of a toddler classroom, including child supervision, curriculum, early intervention practices, documentation, staff training, and distance learning during Covid.
I performed as lead teacher and acting supervisor, managing documentation, classroom management, social-emotional support, creative curriculum, and parent interactions.
I supervised a classroom of 3rd through 5th graders, providing homework support and implementing creative activities to support students’ regular classroom learning.
I worked in special education and Head Start/State Preschool classrooms, stepping into the Site Supervisor role during an extended medical leave to maintain high program standards.
I monitored mental health and disabilities concerns across five sites, developed and supported IEP/IFSP assessments, and provided ongoing behavioral support and training for teachers and parents.
