Their Childhood: Nurture it:
The Childs-pace Foundation, Inc., is a private nonprofit State Subsidized Child Development program (before and after school) for children 5 to 12 years old and a preschool 3 to 5 years old. We believe children should be nurtured and exposed to an interactive world full of possibilities and natural curiosity, given opportunities and the ability to create their own experiences with their own hands. Our staff members need to have good observation skills, be able to do small-scale research, and implement their ideas. If this sounds like you, join our team and make a difference.
As part of the staffing team, you will be required to:
- Assume leadership roles.
- Must be able to create age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Conduct ongoing observations of the children enrolled in the classroom.
- Maintain anecdotal records to assess each child’s developmental progress utilizing Learning Genie.
- Be familiar with the DRDP / DRDP Tech / Learning Genie
- Carry out the policies and procedures for Childs-pace.
- Develop positive partnerships with children, parents, co-workers, and the community.
Requirements:
- Must have a current Site Supervisor permit or higher.
- Experience with school-age/preschool children in a group setting (Babysitting does not count)
- Work 8 hours daily, Monday through Friday. (Some flexibility to work alternate hours as the center requires.)
