I'm excited to apply for a Teacher’s Assistant position as part of my supervised field class. I've always had a passion for working with children, and over the years, I’ve gained experience through babysitting, tutoring, and volunteering in school settings. As a Student Assistant for the TRIO Upward Bound Math-Science program, I support first-generation, low-income high school students in preparing for college, especially in STEM fields. I provide tutoring in core subjects, help plan educational events and college visits, and manage the program’s social media presence. As a former participant, I also serve as a mentor, offering guidance through the college application process and helping students confidently navigate their academic journeys.
