Guided Nonprofit, Educational, and Governmental organizations to be more actively aware and welcoming with their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging efforts. Designed and Facilitated trainings, staff development and conversations using and teaching Mindful Facilitation and Conflict Resolution techniques.
Created 6 modules for statewide Training of Trainers and Coaches. Designed virtual trainings, authorizing over 350 trainers throughout the state of CA. Co-wrote a module on Historical and Intergenerational trauma and supported over 100 trainers in delivering this training in 51 counties of CA. Created and edited written and visual training materials used to guide trainers, R&R staff, and child care providers, on an ongoing basis.
Coordinated logistics, recruited trainers and conducted over 75 trainings a year for all types of Early Care and Education providers. Wrote curriculum for trainings including Addressing Racism, How to Talk to Children about Differences, Strengthening Families, other trainings needed for ECE providers and parents in Northern Alameda County. Trained and coached over 300 ECE providers Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning - Infant and Toddler, and Pre-K.
Designed and facilitated trainings, and seminars on racism, sexism and homophobia. Co-created and served as Master Trainer in national Certification Program on Mindful Facilitation training 10-20 facilitators per year across the United States. Trained and supervised professional interns.
On site coordinator for a University-based program serving infants and toddlers ages 6 months-3 years. Hired, trained, and supervised staff each semester to staff and create a community for 4 rooms of Infants and Toddlers. Worked with parents and staff to create a safe and challenging environment active listening to encourage self-confidence, communication skills, and empathy for others.
