SCUSD is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Education professional interested in making a difference in the lives of young children. As one of our dynamic and experienced site leaders, you will ensure your program provides hands-on, developmentally appropriate educational activities, enriched and inviting indoor and outdoor classroom environments, and lead your team of child development professionals to create a positive early learning experience for children and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BA in Early Childhood Education or related field and a current Child Development Teacher Permit or Higher; 3-5 years of teaching experience working with children ages 3-12 years old in a preschool and after school enrichment program. Some key areas of responsibility: -Responsible for the day to day organization and operation of program -Provide leadership in creating high quality Early Education and Youth Development Program for preschool and school age children -Provide leadership in creating developmentally appropriate curriculum directly connected to the needs and interests of the children -Manage center financial, marketing and enrollment functions -Ensure the health and safety needs of the children are met and issues are dealt with immediately and appropriately -Use positive discipline in classroom management techniques -Site Supervisor responsibilities
